csj0810 Posted November 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2015 We are booking two rooms and will be getting $600 in on board credit. we are not big drinkers-a glass of wine and frozen pool drink a day, no soda package. So my question is what all can we use OBC for? If we don't prepay tips can we use it for that? If we want to go on an excursion do we have to wait to book on board to be able to use the credit? It is just my husband and two kids. Thoughts?
2thesea Posted November 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Yes you can use it for anything that will end up on your on board account :-) Edited November 12, 2015 by 2thesea

Anything booked ahead of time through the cruise planner must be paid in full with a credit card at time of booking so you wouldn't be able to use the OBC for that. Another option is to set you Seapass account up as a cash account and withdraw the cash from the casino. By setting your account up as a cash account you won't be charged the 5% fee. Tips for the 4 of you and 1 excursion for the 4 of you will most likely use up the $600 OBC. Assuming a 7 day cruise. Poohb Posted November 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2015 Another question. I have booked 3 rooms for family members. I plan on putting all the charges for all purchases (for all 3 rooms) under my account. I have built up a good credit card bonus so will be having an OBC. I think I've just answered my own thoughts; ? All of the three room charges can be 'paid for' with my credit? Yes?

When I check everyone in online for their SetSail pass, It's my credit card that goes on file for them.
