Escape angled balcony?

This is the best photo I can find. I don't have my glasses on so I really can't see detail (I'm basically blind!), but as I count the cabins back from where the deck 8 cabins begin, I don't think that cabin would have an angle. It may be that first cabin with the slightly larger balcony though? Someone with more expertise will have to chime in.

That picture is of the port side but I don't think it would make any difference according to the deck plans.

Is 8740 angled? Hard to tell from the pictures online which balconies are actually going to be angled...

No, 8738 would have the angled balcony. On the deck plans, it's where the shorter length connects to the other that sticks out.

So should I stick with our Deck 9 all the way aft (but not aft view) balcony or would you switch to this? Are we going to have a better view here (seems like Deck 9 overlooks the waterfront and lifeboats)? I was thinking being aft was better since a lot goes on in the back of the ship and not much in the front (for us anyway)... but now I'm not sure if this is a better cabin..

I'm wondering the same thing about 15156 to me it looks angled and slightly larger, in the past I have been correct on Epic and Aways when picking these. Anyone have any idea?

That one is definitely angled you can see the black line is angled on it right on the ncl deck plan site... the one I posted looks different as the black line isn't exactly against the room like this one. http://www.escape.ncl.com/the_Ship/deck_plans

If you're in the very last cabin with a side view aft (9316 or 9916), I would jump to the deck 8 cabin. Deck 9 doesn't have the larger balcony like deck 11 and 12. Anything past the last aft angle/hump would be past where the lifeboats are located. The view directly below you would be only the Waterfront area.

We are right before the angled balcony aft... 9296 I think. Seemed like an awesome location being there but with the option to switch to 8740 now I'm debating!

Do you have any concerns about the noise from the theater below? I am seriously considering one of the "large balcony mini-suites" on deck 8, but I am waiting for reports from people who stay in those cabins about that!
