mdude04 Posted November 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2015 Hey there helpful cruise experts, Any chance that the in-room TVs have CNN on the Gem? I don't care much about TV even at home but the Republican debate will be happening while I'm at sea so I'm curious if I'll be able to watch it. Rare mking8288 Posted November 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Hmmm, unless NCL recently restored/added some extra free TV channels to the BA, it had only 4 or 5 channels, not even HBO - from our earlier 2015 sailing - just: BBC News CNBC MSNBC Fox News ESPN + Favorite Shows Favorite Movies Engage Network + NCL's own Info-Channels, include ShipCam, NavChannel, Port-n-Shop, ShoreEx, and Ship Safety/Environmental - most of them run in a continuous loop, LOL. Maybe it's on PPV, for a nominal upcharge :D   - LOL (just kidding) As for the GEM, try posting the Q's for those currently sailing on her & posting live - maybe they can check & re-verify ... you are on a cruise, relax & enjoy - debates are just that, it is what it is, "hope and change" was the promise, 7 or 8 years later. kollegekreed Posted November 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) CNN isn't an NCL channel. MSNBC and Fox are. Also BBC America and CNBC. Edited November 19, 2015 by kollegekreed

mdude04 Posted November 19, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Thanks for the replies. I guess I will have to watch the debate when I return (or stream it somehow when I dock in Puerto Rico using local WiFi/mobile data :P). I'm a bit politically obsessive.
