NCL gift card and DSC

Thinking of getting my parents a NCL gift card for Christmas to pay their DSC. Can you use a gift card to pay for this? Just want to make sure before I buy it. They don't spend much money onboard so the gift card would be over-kill otherwise.

Yes...this can be used for the DSC. You could also simply call their PCC or TA and use your Credit Card to pre-pay the DSC. That way you wouldn't need to bother with the gift card if you don't want to.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to get them enough for the DSC plus a little extra so they could (my dad actually) indulge in a couple of drinks, or whatever. So DSC and a little extra.
