Beach day pass at Port Canaveral area?

We will be visiting in two weeks, and wonder if there is a recommended place that has day passes to provide access to a nice beach, still has chairs up for sitting on beach, etc.

the beaches around Canaveral are all free access, you only get charged for parking. Jetty Park is operated by the Port Authority and there is no charge for a walk in

 

There are no 'resorts' with day passes around here. JP has a place that rents chairs, umbrellas and the like but I'm not sure of the 'food' status there right now.

 

The pier area also has places that rent chairs etc, and there are food options.

 

A wee bit farther south you find Coconuts on the Beach ... there are vendors in this area for chairs (usually) as well as just sitting at Coconuts in it self

How do you get to jetty park from the cruise ship can we get a taxi or bus? Thanks

depends on where the ship parks

if you are at the south terminals you can walk

 

if at the north ... no
