Underwater Camera

The problem is stock will vary from cruise to cruise. We bought a great little waterproof Nikon which was further reduced from 'sale' price because it didn't have a box...so next cruise no more of that model of camera on board.

We knew we would have quite a bit of OBC and we were planning on buying a camera. We read up on 4/5 cameras we thought would be suitable and about the price we wanted to pay (did not want a mega expensive one as we were planning on using it on the beach, when snorkling...). We took our old really cheap waterproof camera with us so if we didn't see anything on board (or in port) we could still take some pictures.

So glad we did our homework. The 'sale' Nikon was slightly cheaper than we could have got it for at home but with the further discount and the fact we used up some OBC we felt we had a good deal.

So I guess what I am suggesting is if you are fixed on wanting one particular make or model you could be lucky or you could be disappointed. If you are quite flexible you should be fine. You won't save a fortune but if you see OBC as treat money you will be happy with your deal!

Hope you manage to get what you want!
