conquest laundromat

hi everyone!! we are switching ships halfway through our vacation. on 1/2/16 we will be on one line that does not have self-service laundry and on 1/9/16, we will be on the conquest that does. we purchased FTTF so we will be in our rooms upon boarding, and hopefully our luggage will arrive shortly after. here's my question:

is the self service laundry open and available earlier during embarkation day? we are hoping to get the necessities done and over with early so we can just have it done.

The machines will be available to use. There will likely be other people with the same idea in mind. Because there are multiple laundry rooms you should be able get it all done.

 

Suggestions:

 

I haven't used the machines on the Conquest, but the last time I did use them, the machine took quarters. Find out how much you will need and have it ready from your first cruise. Don't forget to have change for detergent and softener. (unless you are bringing your own)

 

I would also suggest, if possible to carry on your laundry. Even with FTTF there is no guarantee that your luggage will come right away. No point waiting if you don't have to.

Walmart sells washer dryer sheets that are awesome for this. It has laundry detergent and softener on each sheet. So you don't have to worry about powdered

You will not have a problem doing Laundry. Cost is $3.00 for each washer and dryer. The Laundry room had 3 washers and 3 dryers.

 

I exchanged $10 for a roll of quarters in the Casino but you would have to do that on your prior cruise since the Casino will not be open.

 

Never saw anyone else go in or out of Laundry. For me- it was a great perk to do laundry 1/2 way through my sailing.

 

I am just off the Conquest yesterday. We had a fantastic cruise!

Bring some tide pods in a pill container. They won't bust that way

We were on the Conquest Nov and there was a laundry room on starboard side second deck. We didn't use it but checked it out. Great info above, thanks.
