Grand Lucayan - Freeport

We're taking grandma on the Fascination in March, but she is having unexpected knee replacement next week. Can anyone help me with where we are dropped off in Freeport and where we go to access the Lucayan resort for our daypass. I want to minimize the walking if possible. Can anyone pinpoint on the map where we will be dropped off and how to get to the Lucayan.

Your map is a little small so I went on Google maps. I have done this a couple times now and I believe you get dropped off on Sea Horse Road.

 

If you look on Google Maps & zoom in, you can see what appears to be a reddish colored road between Grand Lucayan & the Treasure Bay Casino. I believe if you follow this path/road, about half-way to the beach, you will run into a tent-like structure or a shack which will contain someone who takes your money & gives you a wristband. At least, this is what we did 3 yrs ago. If I had to guess, I'd say it was a 10-12 minute walk for someone who has not had a knee replacement.

 

A lot of people pay the taxis for round trips, but I don't. We just pay one way each time but you can do what you feel is best. Please note that I don't believe the hotel's beach bar takes cash, only credit cards. I'm not sure whether gratuity is already included, but maybe someone else can answer.
