serene56 Posted December 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2015 I am trying to book for Feb/Mar 2017 and everything looks to be sold out. Really? but looking on the deck plans this ship has very few cabins for 3-4 people. am i missing something?
steph7021 Posted December 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2015 I know that there are only 2 Havana cabins for 3. I had to stalk the opening of summer dates to get one. The Feb/March dates have been out a long time and this is a new ship so I'm not surprised spring break would be sold out. Try summer...just opened! trvlgirlmq Posted December 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2015 I noticed that there is a lack of cabins for 3/4 as well. Definitely less than the Dream class ships. I think they are trying to push families into the new Family Harbour area or have to get 2 rooms.

I am guessing I have to look at another ship. (sigh)

Maybe. While it's true there are very few rooms from 3, I looked at the Feb 25th sailing and there are still a number of rooms for 3 in each room type. You are right there are very few cabins for three or more, when you compare to the Breeze. It means families have to book two cabins and if there are only three of you or 5 it becomes very expensive because the 100% surcharge kicks in. Set up alerts using the fish and one may pop up if someone cancels. I am wondering myself if it's a dilibrate ploy by Carnival or if it's because the ship isn't finished yet and more will be allocated as 3 people cabins later. I cannot remember if the same happened when the Breeze was built. Are there not any OV family cabins at the back of the boat, or failing that ring Carnival and see if anything is hidden. I booked a room for 3. However, when you look at my booking it says it is a cabin for "2". But if you go and look at the actual cabin- it has 2 single beds and a pull down bunk. HawkIVette Posted January 5, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) We are booked (3 in a cabin)in a Cove Balcony (#2338) and several were available for our sailing. The couch is a convertible bed and is (or was) very comfortable. I slept on one on the Miracle last year. Maybe your sailing is sold out, but there are many cabins on board that sleep 3 or 4.
