cruise101 Posted December 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2015 We are considering a Transatlantic crossing from Europe to US in the fall. Any suggestions as to which would be a better cabin selection choice (starboard or port side) would be much appreciated. Thx.
flapbreaker Posted December 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Alright, I'll bite. I don't think there would be any real advantage to either on a transatlantic cruise since both sides are ocean view. If one were to over analyze the situation it could be argued that the port side might get more sunshine being that it would have a southern exposure. Rare KeithJenner Posted December 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Port side certainly. You will get very little sun on the starboard side. Having said that, depending on the weather, you may not get any sun anywhere. All of us who were smug about having port side balconies on the Escape quietened down a bit for the first week when the sun refused to appear anywhere. :)
