OK, that's another good suggestion to check on the Breeze itinerary of either the Eastern or Southern direction.

I know it is a large ship, and I have been on many ships, but I don't believe I have been on a ship this big, so my big thing would be "navigating" from one end of the ship to the other.:) I like to do my walking if at all possible from end of the ship to the other, but I don't know if I would be able to do it on this ship, or would run into deck/s that do not go through? Just wondering.

On all of the decks that have cabins, excluding Lido deck and above, you can walk from one end to the other with no obstructions. Just watch out for other passengers or cabin stewards. The ship's length is 1004 feet. There are 5280 feet in a mile. So, you'd have to walk approximately 5.25 times back and forth to equal a mile. Or wear a pedometer to keep track of how far you've walked. ;):)

You cannot go from the front to the back on deck 3. That's the only one on this ship. There is a galley between the 2 dining rooms which will block you. For some people, that kitchen blockade is the worst thing on the entire planet. For others, it's no big deal at all. If your dining room is the aft dining room, and you are on deck 3, go to the aft elevators on your stateroom's floor (since you almost certainly will be going from your stateroom to the dining room), then go to deck 3, using the elevator or the stairs. Don't go to the floor first, or you might be blocked.

The Breeze is great! Love the decor and all of the extras. For me, the pros of this ship are many: the Lanai and hot tubs, Red Frog Pub, Tandoori restaurant on the Lido deck, nice spa, and plenty of outdoor space. The cons are the shows are just okay, and no adults only pool.

Breeze is our favorite ship. We've been on her twice, the last time just two weeks ago.

We like most everything---especially the Deck 5 that goes all the way around the outside. Great for morning and evening walks.

The two negatives for us are that there's not an adults only pool. The aft pool was super crowded with screaming, jumping and splashing kids. Ugh. The other negative is that on the Promenade, you have to go THRU the stinky, smoky casino to get from the front to the back, unless you want to go outside. Several times during the week, they had the doors to the outside blocked, so you had to go thru the casino. You come out on the other side smelling like an ash tray. Yuck.

The Breeze is a great ship, but some aspects were disappointing. The nighttime shows have been downgraded: no live music, far fewer performers, half the length, no props, fewer people attending, plenty of people walking out, minimal audience response. Some people thought the ship was boring at night. The decor has been very popular among many people, but I actually prefer the glitzy Vegas style decor that Carnival had before. In my regular life, I'm surrounded by plenty of toned down (aka boring) decor. So when I'm on vacation, I like the glitz for something different. The design of the lido deck inside area has lots of walls & sections, which creates for worse bottlenecks than her sister ships. And the floors in there are extremely slippery. There were some bad falls my week. Those slippery floors were introduced with the Magic, 1 ship prior to Breeze.

But, it was still a great ship & a nice cruise. I bought the weeklong pass for the 3D theater, which gave me something fun to do in the evenings. The waterslides & ropes course are so much fun!!! Plenty of great food options by day, but fewer options than previous ships after about 8:00. If you need food after that, you'll have a long wait for pizza.

Of course, I don't know in which DR we will dineand have anytime dining, but wondered if anyone has a favorite wait staff? Last time we were on Carnival, we found a great server and asked for him each night. That worked out quite well for us.appreciate any opinions!
