Overnight in Puerto Vallarta question

Is the casino open while we're parked overnight. PVP didn't know.

No it wasnt. The bar opened at five I believe but the casino was closed.

I'm pretty sure that the casino is closed the entire time that the ship is docked in Puerto Vallarta.

 

If you look at the Fun Times newsletters from my recent cruise on the Carnival Miracle, you will see that on the day we arrived in Puerto Vallarta the Fun Times indicates that the casino is open from "10 AM until arrival" and that in the Fun Times for the next day the casino open times are listed as "3:30 PM until late". So it appears to me that the casino was closed the entire time we were docked in PV.

 

I certainly had better things to do when we were in PV than spend time in the casino! It's a 7-day cruise... you can gamble the other six days!

IF you really need to play there is actually a casino in Puerto Vallarta right near Walmart which is across from the cruise port. I think it only has slot machines and I haven't been there but I know it exists.

Thanks for the info. Another platinum guest we were in line with wanted to know & said their PVP didn't know.
