Mini fridges stocked twice daily??

On carnivals website it says that minibars in staterooms are restocked daily and anything purchased is charged to guests sail and sign account. On our previous cruise on the carnival freedom our fridge wasn't restocked the entire cruise. Just wandering if this was just a room steward thing or if anyone else has had this happen? I know I can just ask the steward to restock but just curious

The stewards are supposed to look in the fridges during their morning and evening servicing of the rooms. In the times I used something in the fridge, I found they tended just to check it in the morning. It mostly seems to be to their discretion.

On my last cruise on the Magic and it's been my experience in the past nothing was restocked unless I ask for it to be.

I use stuff from there daily and while it gets restocked, I can't say whether it is twice or just daily.

If it's not being restocked as often as you would like, just ask your room steward or call room service for the item.

I usually leave my empty Coke, or whatever can on the counter. then it is taken away and replaced.

DH does drink a beer or two from the not-quite-cold enough fridge.

We typically leave cans on the counter for the same purpose, altho my guess is they would know anyway.

On my recent Magic cruise, I asked my awesome cabin stewardess, Sylvana to empty the mini fridge of everything except the Rock Stars which she did.

 

After that, I would tell her when I wanted more and she always got them to me quickly.
