shakotah Posted December 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2015 We will be disembarking the Anthem on February 6, 2016, and our flight to Toronto from LaGuardia is not until 6 pm - any suggestions on what we could do for appropriately 6-7 hours between getting off the ship and having to be at the airport for 4 pm? There will be 6 adults with one piece of luggage each. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
njhorseman Posted December 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2015 If Royal Caribbean offers a tour that ends at LGA I'd consider taking it.
shakotah Posted December 27, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted December 27, 2015 Royal does offer a 4 hour Manhattan tour for $106 per person. Just thought we could find something better for less than that. Was thinking of maybe going to tour the 911 Memorial but don't know what to do with luggage. Any suggestions? Was thinking of maybe going to tour the 911 Memorial but don't know what to do with luggage. Any suggestions? Luggage storage in lower Manhattan is a problem. Email info@schwartztravel.com to see if their facility on Greenwich Street would possibly be open on your date. With so many people, perhaps you could split up and have folks watch each other's luggage in a downtown hotel. If you tip the bellmen, it also might be possible to leave your stuff at a big hotel, but there are no guarantees on that strategy. Be sure you understand the 911 security rules before you do this - http://www.911memorial.org/security-screening
njhorseman Posted December 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2015 (edited) The logistics are very complex and you would probably end up spending as much money to travel into Manhattan from Cape Liberty, store your luggage, visit the 9/11 memorial, retrieve your luggage and travel to LGA on your own. Per their website, Schwartz Travel's downtown location is not open. Edited December 27, 2015 by njhorseman
