Rare Solent Richard Posted April 6, 2016 Author #26 Share Posted April 6, 2016 It's not very often I single out a member of staff for a special mention (I did on my last river cruise - the Burmese Cruise Director was just amazing) but this guy, John Cunningham, particularly stood out. From the moment he spotted a look of puzzlement on my face while looking for some decent bacon on the breakfast buffet to the final dinner in the Acquavit Inner section he was just so attentive and helpful. Cheers John

Colo Cruiser Posted May 7, 2016 #28 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Good morning Colo Cruiser. At the risk of going 'off topic' I would like to say I'm fascinated by your Signature 'Sealift' badge. As a retired Royal Naval officer I had many occasions meeting you guys but the most impressive had to be after retirement when I was cruising through the Suez Canal on Aurora in March 2003. We were heading north on the last leg of her World Cruise while the US Sealift Command ships were heading south transferring your military from Turkish soil to the Gulf. Really impressive... God bless America. Now back to topic... Hi Richard, spent quite a bit of time in the Suez on my vessel. It was always very enlightening and I enjoyed it very much. Cheers......Keith
