louieboy Posted December 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2015 We are booked on a cruise in March out of Ft Lauderdale and have searched the boards and the web for reviews for a hotel that will be close to the port, airport, etc. I booked a hotel but I had a thought... Is rccl missing a giant opportunity? How great would it be if there was a rccl hotel that you book (and get some points or obc for staying prior to a cruise maybe) and you would be able to meet some of your fellow passengers from the cc roll call or maybe at the bar :) prior to boarding your cruise. There is a cruise ship leaving pretty much every day from fort Lauderdale or Miami. I would think this is a lost market for the cruise line. Just thinking. :D

They're already in the hotel business. The only negative I can see is the cruise market is usually a one-night pre-cruise stay. They would probably be marketed against by the competition....
