Hi there. I understand that when booking a gty cabin it can be assigned at any time. My question is how will I know when it's assigned? Do I have to wait until sail day?

When I called the other day they said it is available in your edocs at ncl.com 30 days prior to sailing.

You may find out what it is at any time. No one can tell you when you will be assigned. Some people find out right away. Others (few) find out at the dock. You may or may not know what it is 30 days out. Just keep checking at MYNCL. That is the only notification you will receive. You don't get an email, for example. It just shows up on your Vacation Summary on MYNCL.

Not always..... So if you don't have it assigned by then, know that you WILL have a cabin. You just haven't been assigned yet.

Log in at ncl.com click vacation summary and the room number will be added next to your stateroom category. I'm guaranteed balcony and have been assigned room 9012 as pictured.

not always. I'm 16 days out and have no assignment yet.

We go 12 days time on Epic, & do not know our cabin No yet, NCL said I could get the No when I get on board. I still have to print my E Docs even if I do not have my cabin.

Probably not. But who knows, you could get lucky!

We booked very last minute 2 guarantee balconies and asked to be together. When assigned, we are the same deck but on opposite sides. But a great deal so we're OK to deal with it.

I'm thinking if I don't request to be near each we might have a better shot of getting better balcony locations.
