Captain's Club discounted shore-ex

When looking at my booking recently, the shore excursions were discounted by 10% as we have now reached silver, but today there was no discount showing. Is this normal practice as sailing day approaches?

 

Also I assume that if we pre-purchase shore-ex we have to pay in advance rather than using our OBC?

If you pre purchase they are charged in advance but if you have ticked 10 pc on your preferences they should, and they usually, include the discount. They do not show the discount but if you check the price it is included If not just tell the desk on board.:):)

if you book ahead and prepay on your credit card in order to receive the 10% discount you may cancel and rebook, using your OBC, once onboard.
