yousee1 Posted January 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2016 I am looking for a beach in Nassau that does not have captive dolphins (Blue Lagoon, Atlantis) or does not support captive dolphins (I don't want to go to the beach in Atlantis). Is there a safe beach within walking distance of the port? Another place? Thanks!
Rare happychippy Posted January 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Have you checked out getting a day pass at the British Colonial Hilton and enjoying their private beach. It's a short 5 minute walk from the pier. No Dolphins here. They only offer a very limited number of passes to keep it relaxing and quiet.
yousee1 Posted January 6, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Thank you!! How do we get day passes? I don't see any legit sites selling them online and our cruise line (Disney) has none listed.
mjkacmom Posted January 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2016 You can take a cab or jitney to the Melia and buy a guest pass. It's a really nice resort with pools and a large beach.
