Shampoo and conditioner provided on the Dawn?

Hi I think I read that shampoo and conditioner was provided on the Dawn. Is that true along with bath gel and soap? Any amenities that I don't have to pack are great.

Yes. Regardless of cabin all the NCL ships provide 2 dispensers in the shower, one with a shampoo/conditioner combo and one with bath gel. There is also a dispenser with liquid soap at the sink.

If you need conditioner, bring it with you. I wouldn't consider the stuff in the dispenser as conditioning by any means. I have long hair and 3 girls with long, thick hair, so that's my take on it. We all need real conditioner in this household.

There wasn't conditioner in my room. I packed my own, thankfully.

The stuff in the shower is conditioning shampoo, which is not as effective as a 2-in1 shampoo/conditioner combo. If you need any sort of conditioning, byob.

We always carry a couple of the small bottles of both shampoo and conditioner that we get from hotels. ;) My wife says it is far better than the stuff on the ship.
