moki'smommy Posted January 31, 2016 #26 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I am the orignal OP that started this thread and I took the advice of Loonbeam and moki'smommy!!!! I got the Disney form signed and I also printed the great form supplied in the link from Loonbeam. I had both parents sign each one and had both notarized. May be overkill....but I am not taking any chances.....:D:D You will present DCL's document to them at check in....easy. If the other document lives in your purse the entire trip, it didn't weigh much and wasn't much trouble. On the other hand, if a government official challenges you, you may have just saved your vacation. Are you likely to be challenged? NO. But it does happen. I belong to the "better safe than sorry" crowd.
ArthurUSCG Posted February 2, 2016 #27 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I agree, have the notarized letter with the custodial parent(s) along with their contact information listed on the letter will make everything easier/less stressful. When we did our 4 night cruise, he took with him his divorce papers and highlighted the custodial parent section. He was never asked though. Having the documentation is like having a Spare tire with proper PSI. When you have it, you don't need it.
