The kids are curious as to what MUTS are playing now, while

my husband is wondering if the Redskins playoff game will be shown anywhere.

NFL playoff games will be shown in the sports bar for sure, possibly other bars. There's a small chance it could be shown on the big screen. If the game is on CBS, NBC, or Fox, you can catch those in the room. ESPN is NOT broadcast to the room, so you'll have to settle for the bar.

We sailed over New Year's and there was much excitement about the college playoff games. We were told that Carnival had to pay for the rights to show certain channels on the big screen. They ended up showing the Alabama/Michigan State game and another one in the comedy club lounge. On the Dream, the sports bar is part of the casino and they had tv's around the tables. I got annoyed when the dealer was paying more attention to the game than his dealing!

Chiefs/Texans is on ESPN Saturday at 4:35, so that one sounds more difficult.

 

I'm surprised to hear you say there is only a small chance they show them on the big MUTS screen. I assumed they'd be shown there. I saw the Super Bowl on the big screen once, but that was Princess.

 

That's depressing. Sitting around the pool deck watching games and having a few drinks sounds like fun.

Last year when we were on the Breeze in January, the Packers - Seahawks game was shown on the big screen on the lido deck. I am assuming that the Redskins - Packer game will be shown on the big screen when we are on the Breeze this January 10th. See you there. No, I will not be wearing a cheese head!

Thanks for all the responses! I believe the Redskins/Packers Game begins right around sail off time, when they usually have a lot of activity on the Lido Deck. On top of that, it looks like we are going to start out our trip with some rain and possibly even TS. So..........we may be forced to find another spot under cover! Rain, rain go away..........

There is no separate Sports Bar on the Breeze. There are, however 7 big TVs above the Casino Bar. It should be on at least one of those. It may also be shown on one of the TVs in the Red Frog Pub or on some of the other TVs in the casino. I am still counting on the big screen.
