The Resort is gorgeous and is on its own private stretch of pristine beach.

Fantastic for families, I cannot recommend it enough.

The bar there is good.

You can walk to the restaurants on A1A but it is a bit of a long walk. I would cab or Uber.

What kind of shopping are you looking for?

To me it doesn't get any better than Sawgrass or Aventura (seriously, two of the best malls in the country and behind Mall Of America as the 2nd and 3rd largest in the US) and they are both about 40 minutes away by car.

If you want to see the area, yes cab or Uber is needed. The resort sits sort of in a residential area off the main road. So unless you want to use the facilities full time, plan on needing transportation.

If you Google map it you'll see it's quite a hike to popular restaurants.

We love this resort and highly recommend it.

The beach area is special. While you can't see the port you can see cruise ships arriving and leaving.

As mentioned it is right near a residential areas.

You can't walk to shopping or other restaurants so you would need to make use of taxi/uber or rent a car if you wanted to go to places off property.
