seannyice81 Posted January 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2016 I could see the Fantasy Class being good with balcony views. That said, many like the Cove Balconies on Dream/Vista Class because you're closer to the water and its more private with the lifeboats and promenade above. wickedhangover Posted January 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2016 aft-wrap would be the best I think but some floors wrap better than others. Or the ships with the owner suite above the bridge if you want to take out a second mortgage for that room.
Canadian_J Posted January 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2016 All a matter of opinion! While the balconies on Fantasy class ships may provide a good view, I'm not a fan of the location most of the time. So you'll find as many opinions as you'll find balconies! Personally we just try to get as close to mid-ship (mid-deck like 7 or 8) and I'm happy!

kelkel2 Posted January 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 10, 2016 We had a balcony on the Ecstasy and it was the lowest level you could get a balcony. I've never had a cove, but I could assume the views would be similar. We were very close to the water and in the gulf leaving and returning to Galveston the waters were pretty rough and we felt like the water was right there! It was actually really pretty and something I'll always remember. It was our first cruise and it still stands out as something really special! kona_wahine Posted January 10, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 10, 2016 It's a matter of preference. I've had lido and cove balconies. I prefer the cove for the closeness of the water.

' Most Fantasy Class ships don't have balconies. Well, actually, they do, but they are called suites.
