Unwanted Upgrade, How do I get my cabin back?

Help, I leave on the Vision of the Seas on Monday Jan 11th and just signed into my reservation an hour ago and found out that they "upgraded" me to a JS but not an AFT JS. I booked my Aft Balcony nearly 2 years ago, and it was still on my reservation on Friday. Now, Saturday night at 10:00 it's gone!! I plan to call C & A first thing tomorrow AM. Any ideas???

Yes call reservations or C&A asap. There's a chance your aft cabin has been reassigned to someone else. In the future notate your online C&A preferences to do not upgrade. Best regards

Guess you didn't mark you profile "no upgrades"??

We had aft cabin 7652 on Vision on our last transatlantic and I wouldn't trade it for any JS.....unless it was JS 8588 or 8088.

 

Have you checked to see if your old cabin is still available. If it is.....maybe put a hold on it.

Correct, I had not marked "do not upgrade" in my preferences. We typically sail on Celebrity but chose RCCL this time because it was going out of Tampa. Checked the sailing and there are no balcony cabins or Suites available.

When you talk to someone, tell them to "upgrade" the people in your aft balcony into the JS and give you the aft room back instead!

Been thru this on Indy. A real mess. Original cabin was trashed when we finally got switched back and our crown and anchor perks either didn't arrive or showed up late in the cruise. Rccl is very resistant to changing you back

My upcoming Radiance cruise is booked in a corner AFT balcony and I kind of anticipated that I might also get upgraded to a JS but not AFT JS, so as early as middle of last year, I've preemptively set my upgrade preferences to no upgrades until this cruise is done.
