I think that she was doing an alternating Eastern/Western itinerary which would have brought her to Nassau every other week, rather than weekly.

I hope HAL keeps the Prinsendam - we've been on it under three different cruise lines, and there must be a place for a smaller ship of only 700 or so passengers. Nancy

I hope so also. I was on the last sailing of Prinsendam when she was Cunard's Royal Viking Sun for six weeks of the around South America cruise in Nov/Dec 1998 with my late husband. I have booked as a single on Prinsendam's September 2006 Black Sea itinerary and I hope HAL keeps this ship going for a long time. It's a good size for me.

Small ships are here to stay. Oceania started with one 680 passenger ship two years ago and is adding a third next month. These ships were built for Renasaince line. There were nine built and are less than 10 years old.
