Hello everyone, I have quite sometime before I need to find a hotel, but I like to plan ahead. So far we had a group of 9, 4 adults, 5 teens. And we were going to drive to Miami for a few reasons. But any one know off hand hotels that offer parking for cruises, or parking options for Miami. If it is too much trouble we may just fly, trying to way out our options in advance. Thanks!!!

Downtown and Miami Beach hotels charge guests $25-30/+ per day to park  so the hotels that offer parking deals are primarily located out near the MIA airport. The cab/shuttle ride takes about 15+ minutes - none of the hotels will transport you back to your car so figure on a $30 cab ride in addition to the hotel bill.

http://www.parksleepfly.com and http://www.stay123.com are two sources often suggested.

Budget options often mentioned on this board include La Quinta East, Springhill Suites Medical Center and Comfort Suite North. The Embassy Suites MIA Airport often is suggested. Better hotels in a nicer area are found in the Blue Lagoon neighborhood near the MIA airport - Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites, etc.

Parking at POM is covered, convenient and secure - but costs $20/day. You could stay cheap 2-3 hours outside of Miami and drive to the port the morning of your cruise. Your call.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Place in Plantation, a burb of Ft Lauderdale. It is usually quite reasonable, clean, and includes breakfast and wifi. Parking while you are there is free. A Target and mall is right next door for anything you forgot. Then, a 45 minute drive the next morning to Port of Miami

We are also driving to Miami for our cruise (next January, but I like to plan way ahead) and the best deal I have found so far is La Quinta East $156.6 plus tax for the room and 7 nights parking. Additional 7 nights (we are doing a B2B) is $35. Price includes one way shuttle to the port. I also found QLS for the return trip at $9 pp. We used them round trip last year when we stayed at the Baymont Suites. We also parked there for a week for free. Price for Jan is $144 plus tax
