Santiago transfers to Valparaiso??

D 5480 is correct. We did the same thing when we did this cruise on Mercury in January 2002. It cost us more to get a taxi to the downtown bus station than for the trip to Valparaiso, which was on a thoroughly nice inter-city bus, with reserved seats and plenty of room for our luggage. Read my review under my name: Philip M. Haggerty at http://www.cruisereviews.com for a more complete history of the boarding process.

You click Celebrity and scroll down the ships names until you click on Mercury and look for my name. This was one of our best cruises. My review has some good suggestions on excursions, especially if you are visiting the Falkland Islands.
