First family cruise!

My husband and I cruised 10 years ago for our first anniversary and LOVED it. We had every intuition of cruising again, but the time was never right! Now our kids are 9 and 7 (twin 7's!) and we've decided to make our first attempt at a cruise on Victory in December. The kids will be 10 and 8. We are going to do a 4 day cruise to Key West and Cozumel and see how it goes! We wanted to go right after Christmas, so our options were limited, but we're hoping it goes well so we can book a longer one!!

Just came off the victory, shes a great ship and had alot of fun. Of course it was New Years lol, so that had something to do with the big party. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to message me. Im a huge nerd with all the ship info.

Have fun! Nachi Cocum in Cozumel is very nice - the snorkeling is the best we've done. The price is right too.

Food for thought. When we started family cruising we always got one room. We than thought about getting a suite but decided to go with connecting rooms. Kids in one room, parents in the other. This give you two bathrooms which is a good thing for families.

 

Our kids will liked Camp Carnival which is now called Camp Ocean. Ours started slow picking one or two activities and when we would go to pick them up they would ask to stay longer.

 

Keep your options open and don't try to plan everything.

When we took ours kids on their first cruise they were 6,8,10 and they absolutely loved it! They loved camp carnival and just the atmosphere of the cruise. There's a little something for everyone. :)

The Victory is a great ship, DH and I had our honeymoon cruise on her. I hope you and your family have a great time!
