Check In And Boarding Times

Recommended Posts

I'm a platinum C&A member and will be cruising in a junior suite. According to the RCI website, I can board anytime after midday. However, my elderly friends are travelling in an oceanview room on deck 2 only. The website say their check in time is 4pm. Their reservation is linked to my reservation.

Does the check in staff at the cruise terminal have any discretion to allow my friends to board at the same time as me? I know the rooms will not be available until sometime in the afternoon but I'm hoping we can all check in together.

Where are you sailing from? In the U.S. Check in times are not enforced. It's more a guide to try and spread out the arrival of people at the pier.

Outside the U.S. They may be more strict but your friends would still be able to check in with you in the same party.
