Hi everyone,

We have booked a Med cruise (with kids) for March 5-12 2017. For some reason - I never considered weather (d'oh) - but looking at accuweather - it looks like it is pretty cool in most ports during this time (Marseilles, Rome, Florence, Naples, Majorca).

Has anyone done a med cruise in early March........what are your thoughts?

According to my heat-loving Austrian friend... "The Med is too cold in March to go swimming." So we are going to the Czech Republic where it will be colder than the Med (Go figure )

You will probably find it to be warm days and cool evenings. I was in Madrid in March last year and after the first few days it actually got very warm (I realize this isnt near the Med but just as an example.)

I haven't cruised there but have been on land trips at that time. I remember wearing pants and a sweater in Rome and Florence, but we were in shorts in the south of Spain. Heck we even went swimming in Spain but we are Canadian :)
