Bump-Out Room

Seen this referred to several times...exactly what does it mean?

On some of the Princess ships, and Royal Caribbean ships, some of the cabins on some of the decks extend out from the side of the ship, while the rest are not extended. The cabins that lie within these extensions are called bumpouts...........at least by the passengers. I don't know what the cruiselines call them. Just go to the Princess website and look at the pictures of the outside of the ships, you can see the difference.

I think there are photos of the Coral from past CC members on the photo site of the boards. I did see a lot of pictures by using “Google”.
