Quackattackaggie Posted January 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Coming from Jamaica, so I'm not interested in jerk this trip. Doing two all inclusives later, so I just want a nearby beach with fish n chips and places to walk around. Any ideas?
drew sailbum Posted January 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Grape Tree Café at Coe Wood beach in Bodden Town does a nice local style fried fish. But they are only open Friday to Sunday plus public holidays. But not too much to walk around to there. Da Fish Shack on North Church Street is a short walk from downtown. Could do Seven Mile Beach either before or after depending upon your ship schedule. Duke's near Seven Mile Beach public beach offers a nice fish and chips in addition to their usual Ribs and more. bookbabe Posted January 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2016 I'll second Duke's. We eat there once almost every trip. My DH likes the fish & chips at Fidel Murphy's, near Treasure Island (port end of SMB) http://www.fidelmurphys.com

CocoCandy Posted January 25, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) Fish & Chips in Grand Cayman? 100% must try Fidel Murphy's Irish Pub on Seven Mile Beach in the Queens Court Plaza. Their food is super delicious ( esp. the fish & chips and also their chicken curry and poutine) and this place was a favorite of mine when I lived on island. Here is the menu, it is listed under "Mains." https://www.facebook.com/fidelmurphys/menu/?p_ref=pa More info: http://www.caymangoodtaste.com/fidel-murphys?restaurantID=23 Edited January 25, 2016 by CocoCandy
SeaBands Posted January 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2016 it's close to the dock downtown and upstairs with a view. They have ab elevator if the stairs are too steep.
