bluesea777 Posted January 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2016 We'll be in Honolulu on Easter Day March 27, 2016, and would like to know if anything will be open on that day. Stores, tourist attractions, food truck (along North Shore in Oahu) etc. We plan on hiring a car for the day - our flight is not until 9pm that day. On the mainland USA, almost everything is shut on Easter Sunday including Walmart, and I'm wondering if this is also the case in Hawaii. Thanks. P.S. what do locals normally do on Easter Sunday? KeepCalmBearOn Posted January 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Very little in Waikiki will be closed Easter Sunday. I would assume something like the Dole Plantation might be closed, but Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial are open. I believe most of the shops at Ala Moana are open as well.
