Distances to where you find private sailboats, etc?

I thought I had found a meeting place I could walk to from ship, but Fury charters do not think their boat will b back in water at time of my cruise. So it looks like we will need to take a taxi. I know these can b expensive and also some distance from port. How far is Red Hook and other places that you typically find private sailboats etc for half day sails/snorkel?

We have taken the open air taxi to Red Hook, and it did not take that long, maybe 20 minutes from the WICO dock. But it will depend on how many ships are in port that day, and you can plan on about 20 extra minutes if you are docked at Crown Bay.

 

We went with Fantasea (spelling?) and had a great time, but that was a while ago.
