Hi I'm pretty sure it was you that posted a list of restaurants near the Ameri-suites in fll. Have searched and can't find the thread. It had the links to the restaurants included and thought I saved it, but guess not...

Could you be so kind as to repost it or redirect me to the thread? Thanks so much!

There are many, many restaurants in the 17th Street Area.

Bravo

Carlos and Pepes

Bimini BoatYard

Kellys

Outback

These are all walkable from Amerisuites. Outback is right next door.

Then there is the WaterTaxi which stops all along Las Olas Blvd. And there

are too many restaurants to name.....you can just walk and find all different

ones......from burgers to crepes to seafood to cheesecake.

And also on the watertaxi route is 15th Street Fisheries and Shirttail

Charlies.

This was the most recent post about SE17th Street restaurants. It was asked by someone staying at Extended Stay America, but AmeriSuites is just a couple of blocks west of there, so the same restaurants apply...

Only as an FYI, someone suggested using mapquest for all of my distance questions. I just checked the distance from Amerisuites to Marriott Marina, where the nearest water taxi stop is located. The distance is 1.08 miles. I consider that a walking distance in nice weather. Some may have a problem with it.
