Mini Suite or Balcony on NCL Jewel

Is the extra room in a mini suite worth the additional cost to that of a balcony? We are going on a 14 day Panama Canal cruise and do want to be comfortable, but not sure how much we will be in the room. Is the balcony of a mini suite any larger than the balcony of a balcony cabin? Thanks

Yes it is worth it...And the balcony is bigger...

For 2 people on a 7 day I would say probably no. For more than 2 people yes, for 2 on a longer trip I think it depends on your budget and the price difference.

This is 11136 a mini suite on the Jewel, this was one of those awkward rooms that gives you a bit more room, it was great and it was for sure worth the extra cost!

I was on 7 day on breakaway mini suite with large balcony -myself & daughter -def would say the extra money is worth it --larger bathroom with upgraded features -& balcony had two sun loungers 2regular chairs & the standard table -it was perfect
