What areas of the ship are useful dying an Alaskan cruise?

We went to Alaska in September and, other than the day in Glacier Bay, we had fairly warm weather. In Ketchikan and Juneau it was tee-shirt weather. It will either be cold or warm, wet or dry.

What we do is put our Cold weather Jacket, socks, knit hat & gloves, in a Space Bag. Roll out all the air.

We packed this in our suitcase & never needed last trip.

Going to Alaska again this year, will do the same.

Mostly dressing in layers was fine.

But the Space bag took up little space in the

suitcase, and nice to have IF we Needed it.

I tend not to have a space problem when I travel-- my suitcase is huge! But I always have an issue with weight of my luggage, which means that the space bag doesn't help. I'll make it work, somehow!!
