It's pretty far-removed from the usual tourist high points in Seattle. Also, Bellevue isn't especially walkable--unless you'll have a car, you'll have a harder time getting much of anywhere off the hotel premises. You can take transit across the lake and into Seattle, but it may not be very convenient. And taking cabs would likely eat up anything you're saving by staying over there.
