Maho Beach - could someone film/video a flight arrival for me on Feb 25????

SXM or Bust is a very active FB page and several people there have volunteered. Fingers crossed they pull through and I have no reason to believe they won't, but I also know plans change for everyone. To be cont....

Could someone video/film a flight arrival for me on 2/25????

My husband is a pilot and his flight will be arriving in to Saint Martin on 2/25. I would love to surprise him with a video of his aircraft landing over the "famous" Maho Beach. I will be flying with him so unfortunately I'm not able to take the video.

Is there anyone who would be in the area at the end of Feb and might be able to help me surprise my husband?

If it helps.....I met my husband on a cruise 19 yrs ago and have been sailing happily ever after since then! So we are big cruise fans. Not just some random crazy person asking a favor on this site! :)

I will be there, in a week on the the 25th, HD camera in hand. I will video if I can have all the flight details and the Jet is NOT late. We will leave Sunset Bar, Maho around 3pm -ish for Freedom of the Seas. 5pm Depart.

I would like aircraft type, color, Tail number (reg) NxxxXX, and any other info.

You can IM me and if I catch him, I'll post the video for you to download.\I think this could work !

There is no flt number since it's a private charter airline.

The tail number is N42WA. You can track the flight through flightaware.com by inputting the tail number at the top of the page.

Flt originating from Sugar Land, TX where the charter company is based (SW suburb of Houston).

Ā 

Ferry flight (empty) to Houston Hobby airport to pick up passengers.

Ā 

Fly to St Pete (tentatively) for fuel stop and then SXM.

Ā 

I doubt the flight will be on the arrival board b/c it's a charter. I could be wrong, though.

Are you familiar with flightaware.com? Just input the tail number at the top of the page and you can track their progress all day long.

Tonight on our nightly 2 mile dog walk my husband says he's getting excited about flying in to SXM next week. He says do you think you could find someone to film our arrival for us? I had to try hard to keep a straight face when I looked at him and said "And just how do you propose I go about doing that???". He says I don't know. You just are always so creative I thought maybe you would think of some idea. All I could say was I'm good, but really not THAT good! ;) Quick change subject......

We're out of NY/INDY /TN/MS (its complicated)...to Port Canaveral and on the Freedom and then the Carrib !

Ā 

Look for the Tall Guy, me, Just off the F/O's, right side of the plane, towards the Sunset Bar, at about the jets 100 ft call-out !

He and the entire crew were beyond excited! That's all they talked about. They are all ordering a poster size print of one of the professional photographs to hang in their "man caves". One of the pictures now also be used for their company advertising.
