My family and I are headed on a western caribbean cruise that stops in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Ocho Rios, and Costa Maya. My children are 17 and 12. We are looking to go on a structured shore excursion at only one port. Which shore excursion is not to be missed? Thanks for your help ahead of time!

Well...what sorts of things appeal to you? More info, please!!!

GC is an easy DIY port. Many folks don't feel "safe" (athough they are!) in Jamaica...so most will do an excursion there....

We really need more to go on to offer suggestions!

I would recommend an excursion in Ocho Rios. There isn't too much to do near the dock, other than Island Village shopping/Margaritaville, or shopping in town (which can be a little scary if you aren't used to their sales tactics.....we love it, others don't).

Ocho Rios is a haven for adventurous tours like waterfall climbing, zip-lining, ATVs, Bob-sleds, jungle hikes, etc. Check out the excursions and do one there.

All three other ports are easily doable on your own.
