navybankerteacher Posted February 8, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I asked my DH that once, and he said it was a cruise that we took with a very active roll call, where we had planned things together though out the cruise. But after that cruise, when it was over, we were gad to go home. On our last cruise in January, when it was over, we had no urge to go home, we just wanted to get back on the ship and keep on sailing. The cruise was relaxing, our excursions exhilarating, and we learned just a bit more about ourselves, and that to me made it a perfect cruise. What makes a cruise "perfect" for you? We have yet to achieve perfection, but remain willing to keep trying. Good service, good weather, interesting speakers, good ports, good entertainment all contribute. A couple of significant variables are: a lack of loud-mouth ill-mannered fellow cruisers and a table full of compatible, intelligent, convivial dinner partners. marshhawk Posted February 9, 2016 Author #27 Share Posted February 9, 2016 haha, willing to keep researching for perfect cruise... I think the more I cruise, the better they get because I know what to expect, and I know what my limitations are, and between the two , I fill my time with what I love to do, (which is nothing) and what the ships offer (which is everything)/ Cruise happy, and thanks for sharing! Sea days seem to win hands down, I guess I need more of these......
