Aj24Cruise Posted February 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Hello cruisers. My wife and I will be cruising on carnival Freedom out of Galveston in April. It is our first time using this terminal. We are curious on the terminal itself. Is there any type of seating? My wife has a highly sensitive vasovagal nerve which causes here to pass out due to certain triggers. Her main trigger is standing in position for periods of times. We have always sailed the west coast out of long beach so any info would very helpful to us. Thank you for any help. AJ

watermelonqueen99 Posted February 12, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2016 As everyone else has said, there is plenty of seating. Galveston is a wonderful port to cruise from. We were just on the Freedom last month, you'll have a great time. Happy cruising!
TEXASMUNK Posted February 12, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2016 The only real line you will encounter is security. But, with the new staggered check-in times, this has dramatically reduced the time spent in line. Once past security, you will find ample seating. Enjoy and Bon Voyage. BallFour4 Posted February 12, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) We've been through both terminals since the new staggered program was initiated. Here's what I suggest based on those experiences. If you have priority arrive early. If not then arrive between 2-3pm. The lines are usually zero by then. I base that on a smaller sample, but we've never had problems. . Edited February 12, 2016 by BallFour4
