Gratuities - First Day and Final Day

Yes that is a lot of extra money....double tips on embarkation and disembarkation....to me it should be one or the other.....:cool:
We don't have access to the OP's statement, but no one else posting has been charged for embarkation and disembarkation days. I have been on 20 Princess cruises including one last December and have only been charged gratuity for the number of cruise nights. I can only assume that the OP read their statement incorrectly and if not they should request a refund from Princess as the charge of eight gratuities on a seven night cruise is incorrect.

IMHO, I don't even look at this on my statement. If they charged an extra day so be it. The crew works very hard, and after spending $2000.00+ on a cruise, I can't worry about $24.00 for 2.

 

Unless you just don't care about money at all you really should check your statement. We find mistakes all the time on our statement.
