jtl513 Posted February 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) I called Holland Americia and asked and they tell me we are not tendering but Cruise Line of Alaska show amp is tendering. Since AMP means Anchor - Marine Park, I would say you are tendering. Maybe the person you spoke to was giving you the answer for the Westerdam, which will be at the CT (Cruiseship Terminal) dock that day. frankc98376 Posted February 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Juneau schedule shows NA and Solstice trade off anchoring and docking each week. Following week NA is at dock and Solstice anchored. NA and Solstice use AJ dock when docked- need to take a shuttle bus into town. I guess you could walk but a long walk from the pier (about 1 mile) part of which you need to walk on the road. We docked there a few years ago and as I recall the cost for the shuttle bus was about $3 per person all day- go back and forth all you want. People that had walked said they wished they had paid the $3. Tendering should take you right downtown. JudithLynne Posted February 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Thank you so much for jumping in and giving me that info so quickly, what service! I am just not sure I understand what I am seeing. The Maasdam docks at "AS-steam dock." I have no idea what that means.
