Caribe Hilton Thankgiving?

Has anyone stayed here? I will be traveling solo and will be arriving on Thanksgiving day for 2 days pre-cruise. Thanksgiving day I don't plan on doing much but hanging by the pool, but will most things be open the day after Thanksgiving?

I have been in San Juan the day after Thanksgiving, and everything was open like normal. However, on Thanskgiving, many things will be closed, such as both of the forts in OSJ, as well as many restaurants. So if you're flying in on T-day, and planning on spending the day relaxing by the pool, you should be okay!

We liked it. Had a very nice quiet room. Only stayed one night pre cruise.

I have stayed several times at the Caribe Hilton, and love it, and not cruise related either, just the vacation destination. :):):)

 

Hint, ask for a high floor room in the tower, not in the original, shorter building.

Everything should be open day after Thanksgiving and if there are ships in port, some places may open on Thanksgiving Day.

I agree...... :) DH and I stayed with our friends in Caribe Hilton a number of times for resort stays through the years. We always enjoyed our stays. Loved their little private beach.

 

I also agree to ask for a Tower Room and not their 'garden room.'

We are also staying here for two nights starting the day after Thanksgiving prior to sailing on Gem on Nov 27th.
