OBC Gift certificates-How can I use them

Hi! First time NCL cruiser on Getaway on Feb 28th & wondering how I can use OBC gift certificates that I would like to purchase pre-boarding. I'm pretty sure I can use them for dining, shopping, etc. on the ship... How do I redeem these certificates ? I've read that I can do that upon arrival at Guest Services. Do they credit my account ? Can I use them at the casino ? Can I get cash money for them ? All of these questions 'cuz the exchange rate (Cdn $ to US $) to purchase OBC gift certificates is a lot better than what I can get at my bank. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The certificates will be in your cabin on the day you nominate. They will appear as a credit on your on board account, you can always check that at guest services. They can be used for anything you buy on the ship.

Remember that you can only buy USD1000. You can withdraw in the Casino at a cost of 3%. At the end of the cruise a credit of USD50 can be obtained as cash from Guest Services; more than that will be sent to your home address as a cheque (2-8 weeks).

HTH
