Gem 2 bedroom family suite.

My family just did an upsell to a two bedroom family suite for our 10 day cruise on the gem next month.

We did the upsell primarily for the extra space.

So my question is, what are the complimentary perks of being in a suite? Ncl's website is very vague. We are in room 11506 if anyone has cabin feedback.

Thanks :)

We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite on the 11th floor after an upsell last April on the Gem. The bathroom was amazing, especially the tub with the huge window and TV. Still get a kick out of the fact that you can watch TV while taking a hot bath with the bath salts they provide and looking out at the ocean. And the TV company is also Vogel, which is my maiden name, so that got a good laugh. You're going to love it!

We stayed in 11006 (same room starboard side). My daughters favorite perk was the Haven. She settled into one of the day beds and read for hours. I liked breakfast and lunch in Cagneys and came to truly appreciate the concierge when she helped problem solve room issues and restaurant reservation problems.

Have a wonderful trip - the suites are great fun.

Do the non-haven 2 bedroom suites have have access to the haven area? Last time we were in a 2 bedroom non-haven suite we did not have access.

No. Unless they changes things very recently.

I love the 2 bedrooms! Stayed in Gem 11530. We had a lot of family & friends onboard & had almost everyone in there one afternoon - around 15 people.

There is also the breakfast & lunch perk in the special dining room. When I went it was Cagney's but I think its in Moderno now. Same menus though. There is also the Suite Party - they will send you an invite. Sometimes in the Haven - sometimes elsewhere.

There is no access to the Haven from a suite room only a Haven 2 bedroom! The 2 bedroom suite is entitled to all perks but the Haven.

The reason I was asking was because SUZEQU was saying that her daughter loved the day beds in the Haven. She sais that they were in 11006, the same room that we will be in 2 weeks and it is not in the Haven area. The two bedroom haven suites are on deck 14.

I just left room 11006 this morning and no access to Haven. Only for suite party :)

We were in 11506 last month. We loved it for the extra space. It was just DH and me. I told him we each had our own bathrooms. We loved using the small bedroom to store our luggage and our laundry.

Suites get free on demand movies. That helped since the tv stations are limited.

The shower in the main bathroom is fabulous. There are six jets that massage you as you shower. There are vides on you tube that show what the two bedroom cabin looks like.

I suggest you bring duct tape. The drawers in the small bedroom constantly opened and shut when the ship hit any bumps ( we sailed away from a snow storm).

There is also a extra phone in the room ( number is on the bottom) that you can carry around the ship. It was good when I walked around and DH needed to reach me.

Make sure you attend the Meet and Greet for your Roll Call. You will meet the ships officers.

You should get an invitation to a special cocktail party with the Captain in the Haven usually on the first sea day.
