dansu Posted February 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2016 We have just added the Freedom of the Seas (February 12, 2017) to our Allure b2b for January 29/February 5, 2017, and have decided to try one of the new panoramic ocean view staterooms on deck 12. We have never sailed in a cabin other than a balcony; however, being the 3rd cruise in our b2b/2b - it seemed the wisest choice. Has anyone reading this post sailed in one of the new P2 panoramic ocean view staterooms on deck 12, and if so could you please tell me if there are stairs or elevators in the vicinity of the cabins, as the deck plan appears to have us go outside an into an other part of the ship to get to the remainder of the ship? Thank you Dansu
leaveitallbehind Posted February 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2016 Elevators and stairways are adjacent to the Vitality Fitness center on deck 12 and are interior to your stateroom hallways.

robtulipe Posted February 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2016 (edited) Not only is there the direct access to the elevator/stairs area inside from the corridor for the cabins but there are two outside doors on each side, one into the cabin corridor, right arrow below and a sliding door to the elevator area which is marked by the arrow on the left of this starboard side shot. Below are shots of one of the larger P2 cabins, #1860. Edited February 21, 2016 by robtulipe

Woodmnky Posted February 22, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2016 We stayed in one of the Family Oceanview at the very front of the ship. I had a foot injury so every step mattered during the vacation and I never felt like there was much of a walk to the elevators/stairs area. We have a regular large oceanview on Deck 12 booked for April because we loved the area, cabins, and view more than almost every balcony that we've had in the past. I'm in a family panoramic OV on explorer in May. How was it?
