cruzsnooze Posted April 2, 2016 #26 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Regarding 18% service charge, everyone I ask told me they don't get this money. They only get dcs and if guest take care of them. In my observation a lot of people who have UBP don't tip the wait stuff. There is no more check to sign and people don't carry cash with them. Even in the casino I rarely saw anybody tipping for drinks. I certainly don't tip above the automatic 18%, enough is enough. If the crew don't like it then why do they stay for years? hawkeyetlse Posted April 2, 2016 #27 Share Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Would the current T&C of the promo as it stands now apply for a 2017 sailing if they change the words later this year? When you book far in advance, I think you have to accept the possibility of certain things changing by the time you sail (as an extreme example, if they refurbish the ship and eliminate the sushi bar, they are not going to be able to give you what they promised in your promo terms…) But in cases like this where they have simply decided not to honor their own terms, you can certainly fight, and I think you should. But in my experience, they push back, a lot, for a long time, and it is not pleasant. You will eventually "win", I predict, but this meal of sushi may leave a bad taste in your mouth… :( Edited April 2, 2016 by hawkeyetlse

But when in august it was offered to us and we enjoyed it without any problems or questions and in February I was told by multiple sources that's no longer available, what was I suppose to do?
